♦ Company D-1, or Spider D as it is most commonly known, is a non-integrated Army ROTC unit. Here in Spider D we take pride in being known as the good ol’ boys of the corps. We are a highly respected unit within the Corps of Cadets and are known for our rigerous freshman or “fish” year and our laid back lifestyle in the years following. Spiders are people who when it comes time to work they work hard and when it comes time to play - well, they do that hard too! As a fish in Spider D, you will grow extremely close to your fellow fish classmates, or “buddies.” No where else will you find a closer group of friends than the buddies you make in Spider D. Many Spiders will agree when asked that your fish buddies are so close to you that they will be the ones who “marry you and bury you.” Here in Spider D we are a small outfit therefore we take pride in strong family atmosphere. Once you are a part of our family, there is no other feeling like it - so come join!
